Anton the Spanish sparrow
Spain 2007
Anton was a little sparrow who fel out of a tree on our camping site in Spain.
My son found him unterneath our canvas and we put him in our washbasin.
The first day we feed hem with dog and catfood.
The next day he wanted to fy and jumped on my schoulder.
Since then he sat on my shoulder and when somebody wanted to grap him
he flew back to my shoulder.
During the day by everything I did he sat there and in the mean time I gave him
his food. Even when I walked with my dog around the camping he sat there.
On the thirth day he sometimes tried to fly but then flew back to me.
On the last day I went for a walk with my dog and Anton an wondered what
to do with the bird. I had to go home but I felt sorry for Anton if he had to put
in a cage. He solved my problem and flew to a tree. I slowly walked further. And then he flew to the next tree.
Slowly I walked away and normaly he flew back to me. But now he was flying again to the next tree
and then.... he disappeared !
I hope he has found his way over there in Spain, but I do miss him sometimes.
